MetraTech Corp. is Finalist for Three 2008 World BSS Awards

Boston, MA and London, UK, May 27 2008 – MetraTech Corp., the leading provider of Web Services-based billing, customer self-care and partner management, has been nominated as a finalist for three prestigious 2008 World BSS Awards.  These awards, widely regarded as the highest industry recognition of BSS excellence, are now in their 12th year. The announcement of the winners will be made at the BIMS 2008 Gala Diamond Drinks Party in Amsterdam on the evening of Tuesday 10th June 2008.

The three MetraTech nominations include reaching the final shortlist for the signature “Best Overall Contribution to BSS” prize.  Additionally, MetraNet is listed a finalist for the highly prestigious “Innovation in Billing and Information Management” award.  Completing the hat-trick, for “Best Billing/Charging Implementation,” is the MetraTech deployment at City of Chicago/O’Hare Airport.

The nominations underline why, recently, Paul Hughes, Vice President of Enabling Technologies research at Yankee Group, observed that, “The fact that  business models are today ever faster moving, more complex and more divergent points to why we see MetraTech as a company to watch in 2008 and an important addition to any billing selection shortlist.”
